We are of the firm belief that a dedicated workforce is one of the most important success factors for our company. Sirona has more than 3,500 employees working at 31 locations around the world and on every continent. Successfully integrating them into the organisation, raising their sense of personal responsibility and giving them the chance to develop are key priorities.

We set high standards for our staff around the globe: depth of technical knowledge, well-developed social skills and exceptional motivation, flexibility and commitment. They develop these qualities by playing a pivotal part in the development and shaping of the company. Staff and managers alike have fully embraced our company's vision of being a global market leader and pioneering leading innovator for the dental industry – and they work to make that vision a reality.

Sirona: Multi-Award-Winning Employer in 2016:

Sirona was honored by FOCUS magazine for being one of the best employers in Germany in 2014, 2015 and in 2016. In an elaborate study, the magazine showed a comparison of the best employers according to experts, a number of evaluations, and comprehensive surveys of employees in all age groups and job levels. This study showed that Sirona featured in the top level of the best employers in Germany.

Additionally, we received the awards for Top Employer Germany Engineers 2016, Top Employer Austria 2016 and Top Employer Brazil 2016. The certifications were awarded by the Top Employers Institute, an international economic research firm. A number of aspects were evaluated, such as the human resources strategy and employer services in the areas of primary and secondary benefits, training & development, corporate culture, and innovation.

Michael J. Elling, Vice President Corporate Human Resources at the Sirona Group: "We are delighted to receive this premier employer award. It will encourage and motivate our staff in their daily efforts to secure and further extend Sirona's position as a dynamic innovator and global market leader in the dental industry."

The Top Employer 2013 seal of approval from the Top Employers Institute is not the first award that Sirona has attracted in recognition of outstanding personnel management: the company received a similar employer distinction in 2009, and scooped the TOP JOB award for the best managed employer in the German SME sector in 2003. Sirona was also rated gold by the Best of Top 100 study back in 2001, confirming the company as the most innovative of the small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany.
